We can also help people’start a tenancy with an interest-free bond loan, or keep a tenancy with help to pay the rent.Rent Choice Subsidy Eligibility requirements: Subject to criteria outlined by Family and Community Services Access a private rental subsidy through Rent Choice Rent Choice is a private rental subsidy that helps you pay the rent for up to three years. Financial assistance may be available if you have had a major financial setback like illness or job loss, are escaping domestic and family violence, are a war veteran, or are a young person aged 16 ? 24. Rent Choice supports access to safe and affordable housing in the private rental market to eligible clients who are able to demonstrate a capacity to sustain their tenancy in private rental accommodation.
